It’s our intention to make your Salida, Colorado travel experience one you’ll want to repeat and share with your friends and family. This page contains important information about our Rocky Mountain lodging accommodations, including policies and directions. Rates are subject to change, and each room is priced for up to double occupancy. $20 for each additional person in the room. Local tax is 6.9%. One night stays are fine, but there may be a two night minimum for Holidays and special events.
Reservations are strongly suggested as far in advance as possible. They may be prepaid or guaranteed by check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express or cash.
If reservations are cancelled or changed 7 days prior to 3:00 p.m. the first day of the stay, there are no charges and no fees. Otherwise, there is a full charge for rooms reserved in the 7 day period from time of notification, unless we can re-rent the rooms, and then there are no charges and no fees.
Children ten years and older are welcome at the Tudor Rose, and parents are responsible for the actions of their children. Vacation accommodations for families with children under the age of ten are available at our newly constructed Chalets.
Check in time is 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Please make prior arrangements if arriving later than 6 p.m. Check out is 10:30 a.m.
We are a non-smoking Colorado B&B. You are welcome to smoke outside, but please, no smoking in the barn.
We're sorry, but our outdoor resident dogs prefer we do not accept overnight guest dogs in the inn. Pet friendly lodging is available in two of our Chalets. Please contact the B&B directly for more information about our pet policies – 800-379-0889.
We have stalls, paddocks and pastures available for horses of our overnight guests. To avoid any inconvenience, we require current negative coggins and health papers on all horses. $10.50 per horse per night including grass hay.

From Denver area including Boulder,
Greeley, Ft. Collins and Littleton:
Take 285 south from Denver through Southpark to Johnson
Village/Buena Vista. Take 285 south about 12 miles then
left on 291. Go 10 miles into Salida. Go thru town to the
intersection of Highway 50. Turn left on 50, look for highway
sign and turn right on County Road 104.
From Colorado Springs:
Take 115 south from Colorado Springs to Highway 50.
Go right (west) on 50 through Canon City to Salida. Just before
getting to Salida, look for Highway sign and County Road 104.
Turn left on county road 104.
From Pueblo and Canon City:
Go west on 50 to Salida. Just before getting to Salida,
look for Highway sign and County Road 104. Turn left on County
From Alamosa and the south of Salida:
Go north on 285 into Poncha Springs. Turn right (east)
on 50. Go through the business district to Salida to the other
side and go around the bend. Look for Highway sign and County
Road 104. Turn right on 104.
From Montrose, Durango and the West:
Take 50 east over Monarch pass into Poncha Springs.
(If coming from Durango you may choose to take 160 east then
follow directions from Alamosa and the south) Stay on 50 east
through the business district of Salida to the other side and
go around the bend. Look for our Highway sign and County Road
104. Turn right on 104.
