A majestic country manor, the Tudor Rose Bed and Breakfast provides Salida, Colorado lodging on a stunning mountain estate. The inn resides proudly atop a ridge and is surrounded by 37 acres of pinon pines. Bordered by three mountain ranges, which offer commanding 360 degree views of the Colorado Rocky Mountains by day and a sky full of stars at night, the B&B offers accommodations with the tranquility and seclusion of the mountains. Yet guests still enjoy easy access to downtown Salida, CO only 1 1/2 miles away, making the Tudor Rose an inviting alternative to typical hotel lodging.

Overly large guestrooms and spacious common areas grace the B&B interior while wildlife, native landscape and a hiking trail enrich the surrounding grounds. Traveling with your horse? We offer horse stabling and have stalls, paddocks and pastures available for horses of our overnight guests.

Bring your horse to the Tudor Rose and enjoy an unforgettable Colorado horseback vacation. Our horse guests enjoy use of the barn with box stalls and a wooden fenced paddock area.

Stay in the Tudor Rose B&B

Large guestrooms with amenities and hot breakfast in the B&B. Our expansive deck with hot tub allows our B&B guests to savor the views of the Mosquito Mountain range and Arkansas River Canyon, and enjoy watching the many types of birds that grace the area including our hummingbirds - then soak their weary bones under a black sky full of stars. The hot tub is available for B&B guests.

Mountain view Chalets for larger groups

Each Chalet will sleep up to six in three queen-size beds and features two baths, a cozy fireplace, and full kitchen. The Great Room has 20' vaulted ceilings covered in knotty pine, and it features massive windows facing the mountains and surrounding views. The full kitchen is well equipped with refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot, all pots and pans, and table service for six. Cooking meals will be a cinch!

Lovely house, each room different. The grounds are large and CO rustic. The breakfast was very good and 2 different seating times are offered. That's nice. Several common areas and a beautiful outdoor deck for evening wine or breakfast if you want.

My Dad and I stopped by Tudor Rose because we saw a sign off the main highway and thought we would check it out. Tudor Rose is worth the drive up the hill, the place is immaculate! We stayed in a Chalet and I would highly recommend them! They have fantastic views and a fireplace! We only stayed one night, but I fully intent to stay there again for a few days in the future. Hands down the nicest place in town, and the nicest hosts you will ever meet. -Nate P.

The Tudor Rose is a wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of the Sangre De Cristo Valley and the Collegiate Peaks. I would highly recommend staying here. It is a lovely home and property with wonderful owners and clean and nice accommodations. Breakfast was wonderful and each room is different. Easy access to the city and food, but also easy access to hiking trails and the river. I will stay here again

This was our 6th visit to the Tutor Rose and was just as excellent as the other 5. We stayed in the house this tine (have been in the chalets twice). We take our horses with us and enjoy riding the tails around Salida and Buena Vista. Excellent horse accommodations. Our room was immaculate, comfortable and welcoming. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend the Tutor Rose!

Great bed and breakfast in the heart of the Colorado mountains. Host are very welcoming and breakfast was wonderful. Lots to do in Salida including hiking and river activities at the Arkansas River. We will return.

I had an AMAZING time at the Tudor Rose Bed & Breakfast. I booked this solely because they have horse facilities and accept stallions. I was really just looking for a place to bunk down and a safe spot for my horse. This was so much more. John and Terre were warm, welcoming hosts. John gave my excellent tips on what trails to hit. There are some nice rides right out the back of the property, but so many beautiful rides a short trailer trip away. -Kerry

Very nice owners, clean facility, great location. We only spent one night on site but found time to wonder the hiking trail as well as a night in the hot tub located on the adjacent deck. Breakfast was on time and wonderful. Jon and Terre have done an outstanding job with the entire facility. We plan to stay in one of the Chalets on our next visit.

We stayed in the Ponderosa room. Room was clean and the owners were great. Appreciated the key being left for us as we showed up past normal check in. Breakfasts were delicious. The surrounding grounds were beautiful. Back deck was nice to sit on with coffee while watching the hummingbirds. We would stay here again. Also, Salida is only a few minutes drive and is a nice little town with excellent restaurants.
